Poems

After and Detailed

These poems were published at DIAGRAM. Both feature images of puncturing trees for syrup as metaphors for forcing yourself to define your thoughts and feelings.

“After” images what happens to our physical bodies (and minds) after death.

“Detailed” is an argument against someone who claims that a concept like love cannot be defined. Everything can be defined eventually, this poem says.
